A Gang Tool Slide for the Lathemaster 9×30
Here is the basic concept…. The table is made of 1″ thick aluminum, probably 6061 although 7075 (Fortal) would be better. Ideally, the aluminum should be fixture plate and already ground on top and bottom. It is 18″ long, and set up for 10″ travels. These are the same dimensions as the Omniturn gang lathes use.

Lathemaster LMT25L questions
On the way to saving up for a Tormach 770, I just bought a Lathemaster LMT25L as a longer travel manual/DRO mill. I had lusted after the Grizzly version, but can't get one of those in a reasonable time. I haven't owned many mills, but I like this a lot so far. Despite obvious distress to the crate, it tests out right at the included test sheet.

Benchtop Machines > LMT25L from Lathemaster
Greetings I bought the machine from latehmaster lmt25l and I think is the best milling machine that until now have seen. The quality of all its parts and the structure of it is surprising about the X2 bought two years ago. I have begun to convert to CNC and really is very easy if you decide to use the factory screws. I am very happy with this purchase and …

Benchtop Machines > Tapered gib advice wanted
Setting up a new Lathemaster LMT25L. Generally the machine seems good, but I noticed that the head can be less than rigid and this led me to the Z axis tapered gib. Once I finally read up on adjusting them - and that's not consistent - I realized that this gib is just not fitting very well. So I removed it and indicated it with dye and reinstalled it …
